In February of this year, I became President of Muscular Dystrophy NSW. MDNSW is a charity that I have supported for many years and I am passionate about the positive impact that MDNSW makes to the lives of those people living with neuromuscular conditions such as Muscular Dystrophy.
Sugar Free September is our major fundraising initiative and supports the vital work that we do. Unfortunately, COVID has had a dramatic and lasting impact on our ability to deliver services and the present economic environment has presented further financial challenges.
That's why our fundraising efforts are so important and why I am appealing directly to you to support our fundraising effort.
MDNSW gives kids and adults with neuromuscular conditions access to specialised care, educational resources and support, better treatment options, stronger community ties and direct services such as kids' camps and adult retreats.
